    Description: Carroll College, a Catholic liberal arts college located in Helena, Montana is seeking a Director of Human Resources and Title IX Co-Coordinator.  This position is integral to advising Carroll’s executive leadership team, supervisors and employees on all human resources-related functions.  Duties include the development, planning, administration and oversight of the Office of Human Resources; development, implementation and interpretation of institutional personnel policies; development and administration of College compensation (salary and benefits) plans and systems; development and administration of employment/recruitment processes for academic, staff and student personnel; serve as point person for Title IX and employment-related compliance issues; serve as College Equal Opportunity Officer and Title IX Co-Coordinator; advise employees, supervisors and administrators of  legal, employee relations, and performance management strategies; manage Mail Services. 

    The position is a full-time, 12-month appointment.

    Qualifications:  Successful candidates must have a strong background in developing, leading and administering a multi-functioning Office of Human Resources, preferably in a higher education setting.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration, management or related field; a master’s degree in a related field is preferred.   The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of related, progressively responsible executive human resources experience to include supervisory experience; demonstrated exceptional ability to confidentially and sensitively handle human resource issues; keen knowledge of employment-related laws to include MTWDEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO; demonstrated excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; strong organizational, problem solving, and time management skills; ability to effectively manage, motivate, and sustain an excellent HR staff.
