    Juliana Hallows is the Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC)  for the Veterans Affairs in Montana. She is located at Fort Harrison and is poised to help our veterans, their loved ones, and the greater community of Montana recognize and respond to suicide risk and prevention. She joins Tracy Zachmann the Suicide Prevention Case Manager (SPCM).  On average, 22 veterans complete suicide daily, we are all an integral part of helping prevent suicide and it will take each of us to help prevent suicide.

    Professionally, Juliana Hallows is a licensed clinical professional counselor in Montana and a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors. She completed her education and training at Indiana University where she completed both  Master's and Specialist degrees in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education in 2008.   She has worked as an adjunct instructor, a mental health therapist, school counselor and as a program coordinator for a day treatment program. She is trained in several approaches to interventions including Functional Family Therapy, Motivation Enhancement Therapy  - Cognitive Behavior Therapy for substance abuse, suicide prevention, several assessment tools for crisis, treatment planning, and clinical supervision.  Over the past 7 years, she has built knowledge, skills, and experience to lead and make critical decisions regarding clinical care and support.
