Presenter Jake Bash, Business Development Director:

Jake orchestrates the arrival of conventions, meetings, and groups into Great Falls, Montana. Focusing on Agriculture, Outdoor, Culture, and competitively significant opportunities for our community, he develops local teams and makes connections to ensure organized, supported, and unique events.

    Information on his presentation:

The Bring it to the Basecamp presentation is their current community campaign. The goal of the presentation is to make a case for tourism and our efforts to promote Great Falls as a choice destination for travelers, tourists, conventions and meeting groups and how to include this in your recruiting strategies. He will give a mile high view of our operations, budget and funding, marketing investments and media assets. He will then break down the numbers as to why tourism matters to our local economy. From there, he’ll make a case for Great Falls, overviewing our community assets and the sell points that they promote. He will end with a call to action, using a hypothetical anecdote for the typical Great Falls Champion as an example of how one solid connection can help their office yield results for the Great Falls economy.

In addition, we will hear from Dean Nelson and Patrick Chapman for a few minutes in regards to the Special Olympics. Dean Nelson is in charge of fund development for the Special Olympics State Summer Games, and Patrick Chapman is a Special Olympics Athlete.
